Hi everyone! I am a dedicated 5th-grade ELA and Social Studies teacher, with a profound passion for education and student success. I have a Master's of Education in Instructional Practice from Lipscomb University. I also worked as a teacher resident under my wonderful MCL Cherie Bourne. Through my experience as a TR, I have developed valuable skills that have shaped the foundation of my teaching career. Now, as a first year teacher, I am committed to fostering an engaging and inclusive learning environment, guiding students to reach their full potential.

I am driven daily by the joy of serving the students at Burt Elementary, and I am devoted to helping them achieve their academic goals. I utilize a data-driven approach to create individualized lessons for my students, as well as small groups that cater to each child's specific needs. With the ultimate focus on student growth and sustained achievement, I consistently strive to create impactful and meaningful learning experiences!
